Upload an audio file or text transcript

Clicking 'Upload Transcript' will allow you to select one of mp3, mp4, m4a, docx or pdf. You can also drag and drop the input file into the grey shaded area.

1. Audio files

These are the highest quality input and yield the highest quality output. ~95% of what is uploaded to Junior is an audio file.

  • Our transcription solution is the best in the market for what consultants and deal teams need - we strongly recommend you find a way to upload a high quality audio file.

  • Various video conferencing solutions (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet etc.) will offer recording facilities natively to the platform - if your organisation has the correct tier, you'll be able to switch that on at the beginning of the meeting.

  • The expert networks will typically offer audio files via their platforms or if you ask your account manager. You are paying a lot of money for these calls, they should give you the recordings!

2. docx & PDF transcripts

Junior handles these well, but because you are using a sub-par transcription model without proper noun improvements, we will not be able to correct for errors downstream of the speech-to-text transformation. Typically if you have an AI-generated transcript that means you've also got the audio file as well - drop that into Junior instead!

3. Type written notes

The quality of output here is mixed because Junior looks for question and answer pairs, and most type-written notes are bullet points of just answers. We suggest you reserve this for situations where you cannot or will not record due to an expert refusing consent or because of the sensitive nature of the conversation.
