Not every call happens inside Junior. When you already have a recording, a transcript, or notes you jotted from a phone call, this is where you bring it in. Once it's processed, it joins the rest of your project with the same takeaways, search, and summaries as a call Junior recorded live.
Upload a recording or transcript
- Open the call and choose Upload.
- Drag and drop your file, or click to pick one. Junior accepts audio, video, and text-transcript files.
- Junior processes it automatically: it transcribes audio and video, and for a text transcript it cleans the text and extracts insight directly.

Audio files produce the best transcription results. If you have a clean audio recording of the meeting, uploading it usually gives the most accurate transcript. Text transcripts skip transcription entirely — Junior cleans and analyzes them as-is.
Foreign-language files
Junior detects the language of your file automatically; there's nothing to set. For a non-English call you get two views of the transcript: an English translation and the Original Language version, so you can read it comfortably and still check the exact wording. Take notes manually
For an offline conversation, such as a phone call Junior didn't record, choose Take notes and type your notes during or after the call. Junior can still extract takeaways from well-structured notes.

Why aren't my manual notes producing takeaways?
Takeaways are built from question-and-answer content, so Junior needs questions to work from. Sparse notes may show a No QA status, meaning Junior found no questions to build takeaways around. Add the questions your notes are answering and Junior can extract from them.
